Reviews for Hosting a Shire Party
“When we were first invited to the ‘Shire’ party, I was confused about what I was being invited to. I was concerned about costumes and didn’t know what we would be, but the adventure of figuring it all out was a big part of the fun. We went online to check out costumes and with the help of Lynne’s quiz, we settled on what we were looking for and off we went… It didn’t take long – just needed to use our imagination. An hour at the sewing machine to hem and gathering in a few places and we were set! We didn’t know what to expect at the party and were thrilled with the games. The giant Kerplunk was our favourite. The food was delicious and imaginative as well. Our first introduction to ‘mushy peas’. We really liked the names of the beers and wines. The setting was beautiful and the gardens lovely. What a great way to bring people together and have fun. We are looking forward to the next invitation. Our costumes are packed away safe and sound, waiting to be worn again.”
